I asked Theophilus van Rensburg Lindtzer, founder of Learning Academy Worldwide and project M-Ubuntu, what the next steps were for De Rust Futura and M-Ubuntu.
“I see our next steps in De Rust as follows...
“Finally, I see that M-Ubuntu and Tribal should be exploring a strategy in the region that can include stakeholders who are able to provide access to and support for a more regional awareness and implementation of the value of Mobile Learning to, specifically, the final year students (known as Matriculants)”
- Firstly, we'd want to support continued training for teachers to help them use the mobile devices in their classes.
- Secondly, we plan to be on site again in 40 days to follow through on achievements and help with implementation problems.
- Thirdly, we'd want to collaborate with the school leadership to become the hub for mobile learning in the region by hosting workshops that can be conducted from anywhere in the world.
- Fourthly, we'd want to foster collaboration with existing M-Ubuntu projects in the country, inter alia, Spectrum Primary and Ramosadi Primary.”
